Overview: “In a struggle between light and dark, a new world order is established after the destruction of the ‘mysterious power stone.’ In other words, if you like fantasy-style hack-and-slashers, you are so psyched.
Gameplay: Although extremely simplistic, some levels take over 30 minutes to complete, so break out the Red Bull. The game’s attack combos are similar to Dynasty Warrior’s (just hit X and Y randomly), but the battlefields are much larger and more interesting in scope.
Graphics: N3 suffers from periodic choppiness and lag times—definitely not the most detailed 360 game on the market.
Sound: No orchestras here (and no exciting swordplay clanks). If this was the Source magazine, I’d give it one mic.
Entertainment: With its pathetically ancient gameplay, useless AI soldiers, and underwhelming graphics, Ninety-Nine Nights is dangerously close to being 100-percent garbage.—Gamey Thomas
