El Dorado Skatepark
2800 Studebaker Road, El Dorado Park West, Long Beach, CA
There is a 12,000-square-foot park in Long Beach, California. For more information call: (562) 570-3225.
Constitution Blvd., Salinas, CA
The park is all cement with a street course. There are two five-foot quarterpipes, a transitioned pyramid, a wide funbox with a ledge on one side, ledges, a slant rail, and a flatbar. Entrance is free, and pads are required but not enforced. Directions: Exit Hwy. 101 at Laurel and go east. Turn left at Constitution, parking lot on right-hand side by tennis courts. The skatepark is south of the parking lot.
Santa Barbara Skatepark
Garden St. and E. Cabrillo Blvd., Santa Barbara, CA
Situated next to the sand in Chase Palm Park, this 14,600-square-foot cement park features ledges, rails, hips, quarterpipes, banks, a bowl, and a pyramid. Admission is free, and pads are required.
Flow Skateboard Park
2171 Blount Rd., Pompano Beach, FL 33069
This indoor park has a bowl and a mini ramp. Pads are required, and there is an admission fee to skate. There is a pro shop located on the grounds to service your skating needs. For more information call: (954) 956-8002.
This park is free and open from dawn until 9:00 p.m. Pads are recommended but not required. The concrete park features bowls, stairs, rails, and boxes. Directions: From Boise go west on State Street. Turn north on Old Highway 55. Pass Floating Feather Road, and continue north about a half mile to Goose Creek Road.
Gem Island Skatepark
Everyone will be happy to hear that this free park is open 24 hours a day and equipped with illuminating devices. Pads are recommended but not required. This cement skatepark features a funbox, a start ramp, quarterpipes, and other obstacles. Directions: Travel north through Emmett City on Highway 52 toward the Payette River Bridge. Make a left on Carson before the bridge. Proceed two blocks west to N. Boise Ave. Make a right on the dirt road next to Canaday Trucking. Go up the berm and cross Gem Island Bridge. Hang a left at the fork in the road. The skatepark is a half mile down on the left next to a river.
Lucky 88 Skatepark
107 N. Phillippi, Boise, ID 83706
This skatepark has beginner, intermediate, and advanced street areas. A six-foot mini ramp and a twelve-foot vert ramp are also located in the facility. Pads and an admission fee are necessary to skate. For session times or directions call: (208) 672-0372.
Alexandria YMCA Skatepark
The park contains an eight-foot halfpipe, a three-foot mini ramp, a fly box, a bank, and a couple of rails. A membership costs about 40 dollars a month, and you can use any facility in the Y. Or it costs five dollars to skate for the day. Full pads required, and if you need to rent pads the cost is five dollars for all pads and two dollars if you just need some of them. Moody St., Waltham, MA
The concrete park consists of an eight-foot halfpipe, a mini ramp, and a street course. Helmets and pads are optional. It’s open from dawn ’til dusk and is located next to Burger King.
Located at the Pingree School in the East Weymouth Town Square, this park features two- and four-foot mini ramps, a funbox, a flybox, grind rails, and a manual pad.
This free park has a six-foot tall, 24-foot wide mini ramp with an extension topped by pool coping, and a spine that dumps into the street course. The street course consists of a funbox with hips and rails, a bowled corner connected to an eight-foot quarterpipe with pool coping and a foot of vert, and other obstacles. Pleasant Valley Skatepark
Pleasant Valley, MI
Just outside Kansas City and Liberty there’s a skatepark with a bowl, a pyramid, three spines of various sizes, a peninsula of ramps, ledges, and two rails going into the bowl.
Kirk Park, Bozeman, MT
This 6,000-square-foot cement skatepark is free to the public, and no pads are required. The locals report that it’s a good use of space. Essentially the park consists of a three-quarter bowl and a street course with a pyramid, a flat bar, a couple ledges, hips, banks, quarterpipes, and a manual pad. Ann Van Middlesworth Skatepark
This park is free, outdoors, and open to the public from 7:00 a.m. until dusk. The park consists of a street course with quarterpipes of varying height, a pyramid, a funbox, and a grind box.
Oak Island Skatepark

This 8,400-square-foot skatepark contains a halfpipe and a street course with a quarterpipe, banks, a spine, a street spine, a fly box, and a pyramid. Call (910) 278-4747 for fees and hours of operation.
7440 E. Seventh St., Tulsa, OK
Located in McClure park in Tulsa, this skatepark features a six-foot halfpipe, a four-foot spine, and a street course consisting of banks, quarterpipes, grind rails, ledges, hips, and a funbox. 435 FM1092, Stassord, TX 77477
This park is indoors and features a bowl, a mini ramp, a street course, and a vert ramp. A membership fee costs 75 dollars, and pads are required. For your skating needs, the pro shop can handle your requests. For session times and additional info call: (281) 403-6040.
Vans Skatepark Houston
7620 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024
Located at the Marq*e Entertainment Center, this 36,200-square-foot indoor/outdoor facility features a snowman-shaped pool with three bowls, a 40-foot-wide vert ramp, a pee-wee area with a 30-foot-wide cement ditch, a 6,200-square-foot outdoor cement street course, and a 20,000-square-foot intermediate and professional street course consisting of banks, quarterpipes, rails, and ledges. High River Youth Park
High River, Alberta, Canada
The skatepark has a street course with a tabletop, a pyramid, a mini ramp, a quarterpipe, and a set of stairs and rails. The park is located on the southeast corner of 12th Avenue and Highway 2A, across from the high school.
Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada
This new park is all outdoors, concrete, free, and lit all night. Along with the street course, there is a six-foot mini ramp.
Leonard Drive, Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada
This park is free and located outside. It has a mini ramp and a street course on asphalt. Entrance is free, and pads are required. For more information call: (506) 432-4573.
