Danny Cerezini is the latest wonder child discovered by Jeremy Fox and immediately put on the Flip team. He is only 14 and speaks only 5 words of English, “I don?t speak any English.” He?s Brazilian and is bound for super stardom. He nailed 2nd place at Tampa AM 2002.
Bootleg Pro Alex “Trainwreck” Gall is now a member of the exclusive Iron Cross family of Independent Trucks and he joined the TSA family. Joining Trainwreck on Bootleg are Ams Pete “The Ox” Eldridge and Brian Michaud. Expect the usual deviance and chaos from the ever-growing Bootleg gang.

Jeremy Wray has left Destructo to ride for Independent.
Chris Senn and Donny Barley just got into Southern California a week and a half ago after filming up north with Jon Miner and Mike Manzoori for the Emerica video. Mike has been taking them around some local spots and collecting footage while they’re both down here. Chris left to head back home to Grass Valley for the holidays last week.
Andrew Reynolds and Erik Ellington went out last weekend and shot photos w/ Gabe Morford. Jon Miner was on hand to catch all the nice rides for the Emerica video as they went down.
Heath Kirchart completed the eastward leg of his cross country Harley-Davidson motorcycle trek this week, landing in Atlanta, GA to meet up with Steve Berra and filmer, Matt. If he gets good weather in Atlanta, Heath plans to embark on his return voyage this week. If not, he’ll stay in Atlanta till he can get him some skatin’ in. According to Heath, this was “the worst idea of my life”, and for anyone considering driving out to Atlanta from CA on their motorcycle right now, Heath offers this advice, “its miserable.” Understandable when you factor in 45-degree weather, rain, and 12-hour motorcycle rides without a windshield. Sounds like Heath will be returning a grizzled, old Harley guy.
Donny Barley has left Innes to ride for Quiksilver. He also recently left Element. Donny is mulling over offers and taking his sweet time to make this important decision. Emerica remains a solid foundation where Donny always puts his feet.
Jani Laitiala of Firm fame is the latest hot shoe on Savier.
Savier.
Longtime Oregon resident, Jayme Fortune, will be making the move to California soon. I guess miles of traffic is a lesser burden than days of rain.

Last week, Rick McCrank announced that he was opening a skateshop in East Vancouver, Canada, cleverly titled “AntiSocial“. Rick describes the shop as being more than your average skateshop, as it will feature artwork from close friends and skateboarders, as well as hard to find and exclusive apparel from clothing companies inside and outside of the skateboard industry. If the city allows, Rick will move his mini ramp into the shop as well, since he was forced to remove it from his house. This will add to the small empire of Rick McCrank, who co-owns Vancouver based Momentum Wheels and just completed design on his upcoming second shoe, which will be out in May of 2002. Opening a shop is a big move for Rick, and all of us here at éS can’t wait to see how the shop turns out.
Eric Koston has been enjoying his time off for the holidays after returning from the Girl Harsh Barge tour. Eric has been perfecting the K-4, the next shoe in the Koston series, due out in August 2002. The K-4 will be quite an accomplishment in design. To get a sneak preview of the K-4, visit the éS website at www.esfootwear.com
