Back then he was quiet and shy, but when he stepped on his skateboard he would simply bust. Robbie skates with a unique passion that will turn the head of every skater at any given spot. On a skateboard, he has the talent to do anything he wishes-most skaters dream that one day they will possess this ability. Webster’s needs a new definition for the word “style,” and in it Steve Hernandez’s name must be mentioned. The first time I saw Steve skate, I couldn’t believe someone this consistent and smooth didn’t have a sponsor. Hailing from San Bernardino and currently living in Los Angeles, Steve is now finally getting the recognition he deserves. With some things in life there’s just no substitute for experience, and Steve’s ten-plus years on his board shows every time he skates. His finesse on his board carries over into the person he is-an all-around cool guy to skate and hang with. I had a really hard time writing this Check Out, because I didn’t want to write the same old cliché about how good Jamie is at skateboarding, and I was afraid my words wouldn’t do him justice. In my opinion, Jamie is a special skateboarder who possess a gift beyond my words or comprehension. Aside from his skating abilities, he’s one of the best people I’ve ever met. His personality radiates enthusiasm, it seems like he is always psyched. Jamie’s skateboarding is a reflection of his personality-full of energy and determination.
