Filming for the first-ever DC video is picking up steam, as Ryan Smith, Wenning, Kalis, AVE and Dyrdek hitBarcelona last week on the hunt for footy. Danny Way, who has been terrorizingvert and pools, announced he would join the mission, and flew out to join histeammates. The as-yet-untitled video is set for an April release, and finallybrings together the talents of the whole DC squad, which includes the guys inBarcelona, plus Colin McKay, Stevie Williams, Robbie McKinley and Greg Myers.

The Tikal video is called “Guideline” and hit earlier this month.

After theNew Year, the entire Bootleg team will return to California and begin a monthlong filming trip across the US. They will all get a chance to meet and skatewith the newest Bootlegger, 14 yr.old Nick Trapasso. Since Nick is only 14, he won’t bedoing the full tour, but he will be flying to Tampa Am contest and his mom gavehim a few extra days off school to go to Miami to film with the rest of thecrew. Deadlines are set for the BOOTLEG3000video. Last day for filming is March 15th and the world premiere on April 18thwill be held in Los Angeles. As for right now, everyone is in full throttlefilming mode for the video which is now titled BOOTLEG3000 SteadyCrushin’.

Ina frenzied swarm of a thousand people, Osiris AM James Brockman took out thecompetition at the 1st annual Sun Diego ñ San Dieguito rail challenge. James banged out a 270lipslide, switch 50/50, kickflip boardslide, switch frontside 5-0, switch krooks, ollie over tofront krooks and nosegrind. Brockman beat out pro’s AdrianLopez, Colt Cannon, Tyrone Olson and Brandon Turner for the $500 prize.

THEDEATHBOX EXPRESSION SESSION II – PARK PARTY featured sixty riders who shredded in the first everPARK SLALOM EVENT at Skate Lab on Jan 24th during the Long BeachASR.
