Tom Green’s latest TV project, “The Skateboard Show“premiered Thursday, June 27 on The WB Network. Tom’s dream of being aprofessional skateboarder comes true! Louie Barletta, Tony Hawk, BrianSumner, and Jeremy Klein all had appearances. The Skateboard Show aired inthe Thursday at 8:30pm time slot on The WB Network. Dogtown Skateboards has entered into an agreement with DwindleDistributionunder which Dwindle will become the exclusive manufacturer and worldwidedistributor of Dogtown Skateboards. “I look forward to working with Dwindle,”said Jim Muir. Dwindle plans on assembling a team of young core skatersunder the Dogtown name that epitomizes the style of Dogtown and original Z-Boyteam members. The team will be featured in print ads and demos at shops andskateparks later this year.

Satori Movement wheels will be offering a complete line of softgoods/apparell this summer and fall. Satori goods will stand apart from other comapniesby using mostly hemp fabrics and orgainc cottons when possible.

Mike Hastie has a few new sponsors: Dragon, Indy andVans. He’s got a part in Digital #7 and will be on the road for most ofthe summer.

Greg Meyer is the newest addition to SEEK Skateboards andhe can be seen in DC Shoes.

Marc Johnson got pulled over for driving with out his lights on afew months ago. The cops saw wigs in the back seat of his car and thought thathe may have been a part of a string of liquor store robberies. They searchedhis car and shoes for drugs, weapons and anything else. Everything turned outokay.

Dave Mayhew has been spending a lot of time in the Mid-West beinga school boy, but he did take a time out to travel with the Aftermath Tour.

Daxter Lussier will be hitting the road with Tyler Hansen,Kellen James, Lenny Rivas and Adam Louder in July. They plan onvisiting as many shops as possible while taking time to film for a new MapleTeaser” video that will be available at the Fall ASR show.

The One Fifty One team will be touring in August. Any shopsinterested in demos, contact Imperial. Pat Smith is slotted to be thenext pro for One Fifty One. His pro models will be available in September intime for the Fall ASR show.

A new addition to the Quattro Pro Team will be announced later inJuly to join the existing team of Marc Johnson, Tony Ferguson,Kenny Anderson and ams Jimmy Gorecki, Jose Rojo, JeremeRogersand Jesus Fernadez. Also later in July the new series of wheels,and softgoods will be hitting stores. Stay tuned for a Quattro East CoastTourtowards the end of August.

Daewon Song has left Deca Skateboards and Dwindlehas pulled the plug on the distribution of Deca. Daewon is up to somethingthat will be HUGE.

Louie Barletta received a call from some Canadian officials thatcaught some dirts trying to use Louie’s passport. Trouble time. Seems thatsomeone stole it from Louie while over seas with the Aftermath tour.

Corey Duffle, Jordan Hoffart, Abdias Rivera, PatSmith, and Matt Ball are fresh faces in the DROORS am brigade.

Satori will also be offering and distributing “HEMP” skateboardscoming from the Italian origianted company of Shivatech. Satori isthe first distributor in usa to carry these.5 ply boars that consist of twohalf plys of hemp fabric.. more glue in hemp layers creates a solid snappy popboard with no extra weight, only having to be 6.5 plys. American pro team tocome soon and offering pro models from Iitaly’s top pros, Daniel Cardoneand Mateo Storelli.

Satori team will be the first team ever to take tour to Jamaica..Most of the team will be heading to Jamaica in the first weeks of October tobring skateboarding to the poor country. In conjunction with FTC SkateShop, many skateboards will be brought to the island of JA and given to theyouths for free.

Satori will be going to Puerto Rico with Matt Pailes,Jake Rupp, Ed Selego, Quim Cardona and Karl Watson onthe first of August. Accompanied by Pailes’ band, Creation Sounds,there will be demos in the day and Matt’s band performing nightly on theisland…

Heath Kirchart is still on tour with his Alien Workshopcohorts. He is scheduled to return home this Thursday to resume filming for Thisis Skateboarding. Heath’s new Emerica shoe, the Kirchart 2, is asimpler version of the Kirchart 1 and is scheduled to be in shops near theend of the summer.

In between all this traveling back and forth, Andrew is alsofilming for This is Skateboarding. The Reynolds 2 is scheduled forrelease around the same time as Heath’s new shoe. Like the Kirchart 2, theReynolds 2 is also a simpler, less tech version of his first shoe, minus therubber toe-cap.

Aaron Suski will be trading in the harsh, dry, summer heat ofArizona for the harsh, wet, summer heat of New York. He will be touching down inhis home-away-from-home, NYC, this weekend and promptly departing on afifteen-day 5boro Skateboards tour of the East Coast. Upon returning to NYCfrom tour, Aaron plans on shooting an interview with Patrick O’Dell.

Neil Heddings, the mastermind behind Roll Model Skateboardshas quit the fire and is now on Pig Wheels. Neil brought Pig Pen along,so look for both to be rolling on the Pig.

Adrian is planning on returningto Europe in the next few months for some unfinished business as well as afew trips across the U.S.

John Rattray’s first Zero boards have finally hit the street and he just signed on as the newest member of the Savier team. Johnis currently living in Barcelona and skating constantly. U.S. immigration hasjust granted John a work visa for his skateboard talents, which means he maytravel back and forth to the U.S. as he pleases. This will be key when he planson moving back to the states in September.The Zero team ran into an energizedRattray in Barcelona and could barely keep up with him.

Ryan Bobier recently went on his first trip to Europe andobviously enjoyed the time off from school.

Jessie Van Roechoudt has finished her education and is now on amission to skate and travel everywhere and anywhere.

Jesse Fritsch skated a demo in Del Mar along with team-matesLincoln Ueda, Fabrizio Santos and Sergie Ventura over theweekend. Jesse said that the demo was kind of weak, but he and the boys made thebest out of it and tried to have as much fun as they could. Jesse leavesSaturday for the Tony Hawk Gigantic Skatepark Tour, which starts in Texas onSunday.

Fabrizio Santos beat everyone hands-down and took home a cool$2000 at the Best Street-Trick contest at the Del Mar demo this weekend. Breezeis a gadget maniac-he goes to the Apple computers store more often than yourealize. He’s looking to buy something new for his European travels this summer.

Santa Cruz Team members Stacy Lowery, SteffanAttardoand Ron Whaley have just returned from a trip South of the boarderto Mexico where they spent ten non-stop days of doing demos and autographsignings with Team Manager Shawn Sterken.

Scott Bourne has quit Death and is starting his own boardcompany with Systems. The company will be called “Unbelievers” andwill have Pro boards from Scott Bourne, Howard Cook, JRNeves, and Jason Jessee. Boards are expected to be released as soon asJuly.

Mekanism is a brand new French company of skateboards out ofRadikaldistribution. The team is Samir Krim, Geoffroy Leblanc,Mathieu Levaslot, and Bertrand Soubrier.

The Krux April Fools Tour Video is currently being edited byfilming mastermind Eric Noren. His exploits of the recent team travelsacross the Southwest, up the Rockies and down the Pacific Northwest should be inshops by early August. Caswell Berry, Louie Barletta, AlanPetersen, Colt Cannon, Ron Whaley and Steffan Attardo alllocked in a van together for nearly a month?

Two down and one to go. After weeks of strenuous touring the finalinstallment of the Aftermath tour is set to commence. The AftermathCanadatour will start on August 1st in Quebec City and travel through Montreal,Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary and ending on August 13th in Kelowna. The tourwill be hosted by No Limits the Canadian distributor of Osirisshoes and will feature the entire pro team. And in case you missed it, theAftermath tour has been televised on Fox Sports Net every Monday at 4:00 p.m.tune in and check out the tour!

After years of anticipation, a follow up video of the award winning”The Storm” is slated for release. The video will contain worldwide footageof the new and veteran Osiris team riders . The video is scheduled todrop in the spring of 2003.

Urban Rubble“, a video covering the Pacific NORTHWEST, will be instores soon.

The new Judah video “Mindtrix” that will be available afterthe Fall ASR.

The One Fifty One Skateboards video will be done and in stores bythe end of July.

Kuang Lee went on a couple of skate missions to Asia (Hong Kong,China, Taiwan) with Donger and his Dynasty team. He filmed for months on16 mil, and the result is a 30 minute skate documentary calledEastSide. The film is playing at the prestigious LA Film Festival on June23rd and June 26th. On June 23rd, it’ll be playing at the Director’s GuildTheateron 7920 Sunset Blvd. at 12 noon, and on June 26th, it’ll be playing atLaemelle’s Sunset 5 on Sunset at 7:30pm.
