The GvR Finals Game Of SKATE Showdown – Video

That’s right, a tie. I’ve never heard of a contest coming to a no win situation, but at the 2008 GvR, the skating was so close, the judges were left without an official winner. So, might as well settle it with a game of SKATE, right? Here’s how it went down:

Each stance got a two-man team. Justin Figueroa and Tyler Hendley reppin’ for the Goofies and Chris Cole and Andrew Langi standing tall for the Regulars. The Goofies had the advantage of picking their battleground of choice. Figgy and Tyler Hendley chose the doube set, with the launch ramp up the stairs and the hubbas on the sides. The skater rotation went down like any normal game of SKATE, but if a team was on the defense, they could chose which one of them wanted go for the trick. But enough with the words. It’s time for the video.
