If you saw our post on Los Angeles’ first-ever skate plaza grand opening, you’ll know the only bummer that day was how unskateable the course was. Technically, you could’ve skated it, but I’m not about colliding with 2,500 kids at the same time. That’s called a mosh pit. So I picked a later date to shred—this past Wednesday in fact—and showed up with Cullen and Gabe from DVS, and Paul and Dave from Dwindle. We’re wise like that, plus it didn’t hurt that Maxwell Billeon roped off the Plaza for some private public shredding. Leo Romero, Josh Harmony, Alex Gourdouros, Kevin Romar, Zach Wagner, and the South Central locs showed up too for some 91-degree skateboarding action. No doubt, it’s always a good day in L.A.
