I think he just couldn’t make it in California any longer and you know the best way to go about it is to just say that you don’t like it there any more! It’s an easy cop-out. And come to think of it why is he riding for companies for a short period of time and switching so much? Well the reason can’t always be someone else’s fault! If this “Given” thing doesn’t work out and some California-based company offers him a board look how quickly he’ll love California again!

Kris is one of the most genuine skateboards. He’s a great guy, with a drive unlike anyone else. Given is unlike most other brands, it has meaning behind it’s image and it’s do-it-yourself, raw skateboarding. That’s how it should be, skateboarder owned, operated, distributed, Kris and Amy are two great people. Thanks TWS for posting this Day in the Life. Amazing.

i love markovich. but ive been bummed on him the last few years. i dont know when hes gonna learn that hes not meant to have a company. hollywood, hellrose, crimson, 88 footwear. flop flop flop. hollywood was super sick but it fell, that shoulda been it. stop trying to start these companies, they’re all the same.

Kris is skateboarding, sometimes things don’t work out, like new tricks, so you push on until it’s what you want and it’s perfected. he rips hard as hell and the fact that he and his wife run the business is even better because there isn’t some suit wearing corporate a$$hole pushin buttons and runnin numbers, plus personal delivery shows how committed he is to skateboarding, his own ideas, and supporting the thing and ones he loves most. all you little kids can hate, but don’t get it twisted, he’s on camera, he’s in magazine’s, he’s got his own board company, he thrashes, none of you do any of this, because you support a false image of skateboarding and it’s creativity.

FDG, may I suggest you drop your skateboard and go play with a rainbow saber? It may be more appropriate.
KM is legit and has one of the best styles. Peep the footy, he charges everything.
Even Transworld did a sequence on him on a mini that they didn’t know what it was. May the haters die a flaming death.

Anyone that doesn’t like Markovich either started getting into skateboarding after Bam had a tv show or even worse after Zumiez was started. I’ll bet any of you that’s 100% true.

I’ve been skating for a good ten years or so, and when i first got started I heard of Markovich, but didn’t like him. To this day I still don’t like the guy, respect him for what he does, and how he does it. I just personally can’t get into his skating.
