i think this is better than an energy drink sponsor, so i wouldnt really consider it selling out until he has a tv show haha. im sure he is bringing in lots of money, gatorade probably made him an offer that he just couldnt turn down

facts:
1. sean malto shreds
2. sean malto doesnt have an mtv show about how much his life sucks
3. sean malto likes gatorade
4. gatorade knows how to pick skateboarders (notice how shecky and other "mainstream" pros aren't on the team. I guarantee if you go ask your non-skateboarding friends who sean malto is, they won't have a clue.
This is good, at least in my eyes
5. gatorade tastes good
6. unlike rockstar (which i love to death in the mornings and when im not skateboardin) gatorade doesnt dehydrate you, it keeps you energized and cools you down so you can skate longer, and concentrate more, so it's a logical drink sponsor, which i believe is what sean was saying when he said gatorade makes sense to him and to skateboarding.

ok… why does Malto need Gatorade to sponsor him? The guy isn't even twenty and he's making more than our parents. He can afford to buy his own Gatorade, so it's obvious that he got sponsored by them for the extra cash. If you think it isn't selling out, you're just plain dumb. This isn't saying that he isn't a good skater or shouldn't be skating, it's just a reality that Malto's feeling the recession like everyone else and had to sell out a little bit. It happens, now quit whining.
