Friendly wagers were being placed on the winner at this stop, as there are a ton of good skaters here in Chicago, but no clear favorite. Young Nick Matthews was killing it all day and landed a couple of kick flip back lips among others for 3rd place. 2nd place and the New Era Originator of the Day award went to Eddie Gonzalez who ended up spitting out his chipped tooth he got earlier. John “Ozzy” Oskuanek won 1st place with his big bag of tricks including kick flip front board and front big spin board slide to earn the trip up to Minneapolis for the BFF Finals.
