Not much else to say other than Bastien Salabanzi murdered it, and he knew it. In the clip where he gave away his shirt and sat down in the crowd, there was still 15 minutes left in the jam session. So Bastien reclaimed his board and did the last two tricks sans shirt, and iced it with the Cab double flip. The rest of the video features: Dominik Dietrich, Eero Antilla, Alex Olson, Chris Pfanner, Julian Bechet, and Bastien.

Dood is crazy skilled but his attitude really, really sucks ass. To the guy who said that “it’s because you’re american, different culture blahblah” well, sorry but I’m french and I HATE this whole I’m da best attitude and all. Like someone else said : it’s just skateboarding dood, it’s not like he just walked on the moon so just chill. There are plenty of other monster skateboarders out there that kills it on a daily basis and you never see em so full of themselves like that.

I used to skate everyday in Paris, seen him couple times at Bercy and even tho he’s uber good, his attitude is uber shit. I don't see anyone calling Lebron James a show boating asshole. I don't see people calling Tiger Woods a showboating asshole. Bastian was killing it and it's what he does for a fucking living. It is obviously important to him. He was happy about his performance that's all. When Lebron dunks over some dude and he does that similar shit that Bastian does, no one says anything. When Tiger sinks a 25 footer that is crucial to his victory, you can regularly see him acknowledging his great play with the same kind of self cheering. This contest meant a lot to him clearly, he needed to win in his mind. When he was on his way to doing that, he just couldn't contain himself I reckon. I have never been a big fan of him, but the man is a ripper and he is allowed to have some fun when he is destroying the competition in my opinion. Plus, there is no way the audience wasn't entertained by it, half wanted to slap him and half were feeling it probably but either way they all walked away with Bastian on their minds.

i feel as if some people are complaining that the guy shows too much emotion after landing not just any tricks, but some absolutely unbelievable tricks…tell me you dont remember the feeling of landing that one trick you've always been working on, and just having your head in the clouds for the rest of the day. and while people argue that most skateboarders dont celebrate after a trick, the truth is that we all know off camera they get psyched about it and celebrate with their crew; some are just more flashy than others in doing so (although none of his celebrations are really that ridiculous). attitude aside, stop thinking that the point of skateboarding is not caring, and get psyched for something that a lot of people love to do.
