Yes it is possible to skate vert it takes skill and commitment, remember that next time you see someone hardflip on flat. I would rather do an invert (like lance mountain's) and switch kickflip boardslide (like bob burnquist's) on Vert than see another chet thomas impression. that is so 1995.

ridiculous just skate everything and who cares if it is so 1975 or something. DO WHAT YOU WANNA DO ON A SKATEBOARD. that is what it is for fools.

Its good to see more skaters skating everything. Yeah watching you everyday hardflip gets boring.

well a hardflip on FLATGROUND is way different than a hardflip over a set or in and out of a grind on a ledge or rail, and obviously you dont know shit about street skating because its ridiculous what is being pulled off now, even with vert its still skateboarding so get yo shit straight before criticizing street compared to vert when in the end its still skateboarding; so to criticize street and say its not as skillful as vert or vise versa your an idiot

TAMADOA is a dumbfuck………..i agree with the guy one up. vert and street is both equally hard and to date is getting fucking intense

You all fail to see the point VERT skating is hard and street skating isn't . remember back in the eighties no one could do any airs on Vert.
Every second person in the skatepark can hardflip now. I am yet to see a 13 year kid at the skatepark blast a rocket air, crailslide, bluntslide on transition (if Charlie Wilkins can do it you can too!)
Yet 360 flips, hardflips, pressure flips, nollie heelflips everyone has seen them done on flat. try them on transition and see what real skill is about.
Nollie heelflip indy grabs are easier then 360 flips if you think it through Roll up the transition at 45 degree angle stop two foot from top of ramp blast nollie heelflip body will spin 45 degrees then grab board ride away try not to break your collarbone. Ben Pappas did them so can you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

everyone hates on everything. look at twsnow.com and read the comments on all the videos noone hates nearly as bad as on here.

my bad i didnt finish. it shouldnt be like "fuck you kid, you suck" or "this is harder than that" or whatever it should be more of a brotherhood and skaters should accept one another because were all doing the same thing just in our own way so think about this the next time youre about to make fun of some kid because of how he skates. youll probably just help deter him from loving it like you do or maybe hes going to be amazing at it eventually anyway.. you never know.
November 27th, 2009 at 3:28 pm
yeah. well all around skateboarding is hard. verts hard. streets hard. but its the trial and error and the satisfaction of landing something is why we do it. all you hates and kids who think they know everything. YOU ARE BEAT
