Seriously, how big of a whiny tampon is Mike V. gonna become? He used to be cool, but now he just cries about how nobody knows what real skating is besides him. Skating moved on without him and now he feels like skaters all owe him something. He's one of the biggest hypocrites in the business. He talks about keeping skating pure and true, then does skateboarding stunts for XXX or Paul Blart. He's become a self-righteous waste of space.

There are sooooo many "old school" skaters(some old pro's) still out there ripping in their late 30's and 40's. Travel to the east coast, Texas, Florida and other spots and you will see. Just because they don't get coverage in the mags and websites doesn't mean they're out there killing it. Don't let the media skew your perception of skating. Make your own skate world.

I have always been a Mike V fan. Attitude or not I believe in his strong hold in the sport. True pioneer who shows a side of skateboarding that cannot be ignored.

Josh Brooks, great writing!
