One of the best kickflippers in the biz, Rodrigo Peterson stopped by our warehouse to show the tricks of his trade. Proper set up, catching at the apex, landing bolts, and mad pop are what it takes to kickflip like Rodrigo.

My best advice: how I learned to kickflip… about 14 years ago (damn I am old)… is that it helps to learn by grabbing onto a handi-cap railing or a mailbox or something. I see a lot of kids that can flip them but can't land on the board. By grabbing onto something to learn you can push your body in the air for longer so you can eye where to put you feet back on.
Interesting point. Pride and confidence is (usually) a natural feeling in light of accomplishment. For example, learning and landing a stellar trick. But does that feeling essentially rhyme with the concept of ego? Perhaps it's that line between confidence (cool attribute) and arrogance (annoying attribute). Or maybe ego is the result of confidence accumulated. How do you see it?
one time i broke my ankle kickfliping this ten stair, and i tryed to jump up and run away but it didnt work. it looked so stupid that i started laughing. any way i kickflip better now that my ankle move different.
everyday i get on the computer and look at skaters do tricks, and get ideas of how i would try and make it my own. even make it easier for me and still pull it off. i go outside and practice everyday, (literaly) and repeat the trick time after time, "completly ignoring the coments and insults of others", i still practice. everyday problems get in my way, for example; my back starts hurting, bruses, head hurting, and sometimes i practice so much my body feels cold. i do this everyday untill iv lost so much energy i cant get any pop on my board. do u ppl no wat that is called? determination. and i respect anyone who has it. my name is michael, im 15, and i dont hav any respect for anyone that cant treat others right! and if any of u losers making the bad coments need to talk to me, my name is jason7richards on youtube. im ready for anything u need to say.
