Jimmy Carlin Going Pro Party & Premiere

Last night at Pacific Drive skate shop in San Diego, Mystery threw a party for Jimmy Carlin’s professional arrival and Adrian Lopez’s departure from the brand. The board wall was covered with Jimmy’s first two rookie boards and the good people from Black Box brought three kegs and about 15 pizzas for all who attended. The TVs showed some vintage Jimmy footage complete with flip-in, flip-out stuff on a frontyard box. Next was Adrian Lopez’s retrospective of all of his classic Zero/Mystery footage—the crowd held their cups high for that one. Finally we got to see Jimmy’s Color Theory part that announces his professional arrival. Tom Grom was the first to purchase a Jimmy Carlin deck, Peter Smolik’s dog set off an impromptu Michael Vick fight, and so much more. Check the flicks!
