That makes no sense, if Active owes people money, why would they hold a contest with free admission and give away 12k in prize money. I’m gonna try to make it out.

Khula, its makes sense that they could do a contest and give away money..they are able to do this because of sponsors. They pay to make to these events happen.
Sk8life, ive heard the same thing about active. but they arent the only ones who owe money. they might owe money but they are doing events for skateboarding so thats what matters.
