The Flip team had a busy 2008, a summer full of touring including the Zumiez Couch Tour, and most recently returned from the Feast Southwest Tour. Hey SUPPORTYOURLOCALSHOP,
I understand Zumiez is large and makes money!!! My question is what has your local shop done to help out the local skate community like Zumiez does with is couch tour? Pros, bands, and contest that help local riders get to next level? Local shops and Zumiez both have there place in the market. Maybe your shouldnt vibe new customers and they could make more money and do things like Zumiez does.

Hey Snow Guy,
the couch tour is kinda lame anyways and im pretty sure going to the tour has never helped out the local skate community, its just a demo…i’ve been to tons of demos put on by people other than zumiez like creature and bacon and kronik so hush yourself child zumiez is the exact reason the economy for skateshops is so sucky rite now! besides Shop decks have way better quality then pro models do by far!

Zumiez started out as a single local shop 30 years ago just like the rest of the local shops are starting out now. To many people, we are their local skate shop.
