Professional skateboarder Jereme Rogers said Wednesday he was sorry for disturbing his Redondo Beach neighbors this week when he “ate some `mushrooms’ and bugged out,” preaching naked on his rooftop.
Rogers, a high school dropout who attributes his skateboarding skills to God, was eventually grabbed by police officers and brought down from his precarious perch.
“It obviously was not an everyday experience,” the 24-year-old athlete said. “It was a very out-of-body experience. I’ve never had an experience like that.”
Rogers pulled off his boxer shorts about 6:40 a.m. Monday and climbed onto the roof of the two-story house he shares with roommates on Havemeyer Lane and Goodman Avenue.
“It was obviously something I shouldn’t have done,” Rogers said as he rolled a marijuana joint in his bedroom. “It was just something that happened.”

would have to agree with first comment(cold turkey). no one hatin, we're just sayin. quite honestly im sick and tired of being affiliated with a group of people("Christians") of whom the majority really seem to have not solid knowledge of what a real Christian is and does. guess all we can do is humor ourselves with this unsettling idea???

this is hilarious! i first heard of (or saw) jereme rogers in PJ's Terrible…Life video and he seemed pretty wacky then. And this is just more antics. If you didn't hear about this occurance, you would have seen it in a skate video and been laughing.

what sucks moreover is that rogers is a role model. really who isn't a role model in the skate industry. like anything, being a pro skater comes with responsibilities. if you cant handle them like our Rogers here then scram. final thought…
how in the hell do fellow pro skaters not take to heart recent fatal and very unfortunate events(i.e. Van Westall's death)and realize how frail this life actually is.

mushrooms are amazing experience and jereme kills. oh yeah and fuck that reporter. being like oh hey hes christian and talks about spirituality but he does drugs. oh and did i mention hes a high school dropout? totally just trying to make him look like a bad guy. oh and all you christians out there, god made marijuana and mushrooms and he also brought man into the world with no clothes. mushrooms can be a very spiritual and enlightening experience that reaffirms the beliefs of many religions. hopefully jereme learned something from his trip and doesnt have any legal problems.

I don't think "drug addict" is the right term for someone who does shrooms. I honestly have never, ever heard of someone who is addicted to them. Although he does seem like a bit of a stoner, I wouldn't go as far as drug addict, give him a little respect. I mean, I think he's a pretty wack dude myself, what with the rapping and Christianity and all, but I'm not hatin' on the guy. He can do what he wants. If people don't like it, they can stop buying his board.

The deal is not how many times it has been translated. The deal is how many hundreds of years afterwards it was written down. There was no such thing as backups, CD's, Internet not even Paper in the way we know today. Just a few people actually could write and read, worldwide. So I have to believe you that Jesus never existed and not the many historians, who have documented about His existence? So you are the final authority? The reason you do not believe Jesus existed is because it is not in your best interest that He lived on Earth!!! But that still doesn't negate the fact that He is a real person, that He dies on a Cross and that He appeared to over 500 witnesses! The burden of proof is on your shoulders …. not on the shoulders of Christian, who back up our believed with hundreds of reliable documents and trustworthy historians!
