Black Label’s Drunk Tank was the grand finale at the 2009 Vans Downtown showdown, and it did not disappoint. Twelve rail, banked hubba and a ledge with a giant drop, there was plenty for the skaters who were still walking to get down on. Everyone at Foundation must be pretty stoked to have added Nick Merlino to the squad, as he took first on the Drunk Tank and helped them hold down the top overall spot. Billy Marks rifled off tons of tricks down the stairs and took second while Blind’s Felipe Ortiz took third.

you guys shoulding be hating on chaz. the kid obviously has talent. kickflip front feeble, kickflip backlip, nollie biggie, nollie bigspin heelflip. at times, his tricks seems somewhat repetitive, but hey the difficulty of the tricks are outstanding, and to be doing those tricks for his size and age, makes it better. so yeah, chaz in my opinion is the definitely the man, and an amazing skater!!

all merlino did was a couple rail tricks and a switch flip… marks did a damn double flip, switch big heel, switch varial heel, cab… i mean who the fuck judges these things? and chaz doesn't even enjoy skateboarding. every time i see him skating a contest and he misses a trick he acts like someone just shot his dog. he's only in it for the cash. and he never does anything different… ever.
