if he just painted the lip red (which does make sense 'jack the man', haven't you ever noticed how red curbs are so grindable), what was he mixing cement for? they never showed him using it.

Well, if I had to venture a guess, I'd say that red paint is a hell of a lot more slippery than raw cement. Especially if it was a glossy paint. And he used the cement for the bottom of the bank.

Hoffart would destroy all you guys. Nice style. If you all were real skaters you would know, fill in the crap / cracked cement with smooth mix. Paint over it with smooth red paint, wax if needed and grind the hell out of it. Props hoff keep 'em comin.

its not just paint is has an adhesive in so your only sliding the material not the cement at all…

He painted the top cuz when he's sliding nosebult in the top, he can't see where the gap ends so he had to know how long to slide otherwise he would pop back into an 8 foot drop
