Danny Way’s mega-ramp annihilation may have been the highlight of 2003’s The DC Video but it was Big Black who stole the show. The 6-foot, 6-inch tall 414-pound behemoth was introduced to the skate world by Rob Dyrdek when he reached his breaking point with rent-a-cops. As Rob says, it’s security for the security.
Fast forward a few years and you’ve got MTV’s new reality show, “Rob And Big.” (You knew the concept was too good for a television company to pass up on.) The show, which makes its debut next month, is brought to you by Jeff Tremaine-the grand wizard behind Big Brother, Jackass, and Wild Boyz-so you know it’s gonna be gut-busting.
