Our good friend Dave Bergthold who started Blockhead Skateboards 30 years ago out of his garage, threw a reunion party this weekend and gathered some former teams riders for a backyard ramp jam on The Blockhead Ramp and art show. It was a blast to be amongst some of skateboarding’s heaviest legends like Jeremy Wray, Rick Howard, Kris Markovich and more. Afterwards, there was a one night only art show featuring tons of decks and artwork from over the years that brought back the good ole days for those who helped make it and shared in it (art show photos coming soon to this gallery). Congrats again to Dave and the Blockhead family for being one of the early versions of the D.I.Y. board brands that went up against the big boys back in the day. Nothing is cool.
