Ryan Sheckler is ruining skateboarding. You know why? Ill tell you why:
I dont know the exact number, but over half of all americans watch television. That puts the numbers in about the 200-250 million people range. A very high percentage watches channels such as VH1 and MTV. When those undeniably unfortunate individuals watch programs such as this, Their minds are flooded with images of skateboarders that are contrary to the natural progression of what skateboarding should be. skateboarding’s founders certainly wanted to be good at skateboarding, but they didn’t wish to be socially accepted by jocks and the like. Many still do. The kind of skateboarding that actually brings fulfillment is the real, unprotected street skateboarding that almost ALL devoted skateboard have come to know as well as love with their entire soul. Ryan Sheckler, in his heart of hearts, likes, and possibly loves, real, actual skateboarding (that doesn’t mean “contest season”). However, For every soul who has a newfound realization that skateboarders are just like football and basketball players, the sharp image of skateboarding is dulled. All of the unique, interesting people who choose this hobby and dedicate their time suffer a loss because they become more and more just like a normal kid. How sorrowful.
And that is how Ryan Sheckler is ruining skateboarding. Do you still like him? Why?

Dave Bachinsky wouldn’t be Dave Bachinsky without the hat. Ha.
April 20th, 2009 at 8:39 pm
nah man thats MGMT, definitely poorly edited with this part though, doesn’t go with the skating which is pretty amazing for throwaway
April 21st, 2009 at 1:54 am
i like the song and i think that someones gonna use it in a actual video part with good editing and filming and then everyone will forget about how many times its been used already

April 21st, 2009 at 7:02 am

April 21st, 2009 at 7:33 am
