The third installment of DC’s King Of L.A. amateur skate contest is about to go off this Sunday in Santa Monica. DC has converted an entire airport hangar into a skatepark and a replica of the Chino Big 4—built by Jeff King—will be ready for all ams to huck their carcasses down. This may be the only time you get to legally skate an airport, so get out there early. The contest starts bright and early at 9:00 a.m. for those who are yet to qualify. In the meantime, here are a few flicks from last weekend’s opening party in Hollywood and the kick-off contest at Lockwood.
