TransWorld staff photographer Mike O’Meally has been one of the lucky ones who gets to travel the world in pursuit of skateboarding, all the while documenting his experiences with his camera. The images he has produced throughout his career are unforgettable. Awhile back he compiled some of his favorites for a show called Far From Home, which was displayed at the Dactyl Gallery in New York. When we moved in to our new offices it made perfect sense to have those images hang on our walls. These photos show an in depth look at our world through the eyes of a skateboarder. From tragedies to triumphs, these images are as memorable as the people in them. Watch and listen as Mike gives you a personal walkthrough of some of his favorite photos he has ever shot.
