Film Reel Contest: A Search For The Next Great Filmer

We want to find the best filmers out there. Here’s your chance to have your reel critiqued by Jon Holland and Chris Ray. The winner will have their reel featured on skateboarding.com and will get a nice prize pack of camera bags from Dakine.
Upload your reels at the bottom of the homepage, under the YOUR STUFF section, no longer than 5 minutes.
Write a description or caption of your video.
Be sure to TAG YOUR VIDEO: Reel contest, Filmer Reel, etc. so we can find it.
Submissions will be accepted until January 15, 2010. Then we will show our top 6 picks as judged by TWS filmmakers Jon Holland and Chris Ray.
Winner will get Dakine bags (see below) and will have their submission or a longer video of their choice featured on skateboarding.com.

Please make sure with some of these contest countries outside of the USA get a mention in this contest and some prizes. Australia and NEW Zealand have some quality skate filmers that are highly underated. Send your Video's For the this Contest Please!

I have a few questions first one is .. does the editing of the reel matter? 2nd How do you get the reel(once i finish making it ) to show up in the "your stuff "Section ?

yes the editing matters! Jon and Chris will definitely be judging the editing as well as filming and every other aspect of your reel.
on the right hand side of the homepage, look for the box that says SHARE, Upload your videos. there are explicit instructions once you click that.

Hey wats up. I love skating and i love filming even more. The only problem is i dont have any editing software and my video camera is a very basic sony, nowhere even close to a vx1000, and it only takes film, not digital. I was wondering if you have any suggestions because i would love to have a shot at this contest.
