September 24th, 2008 at 9:54 am
all of kennys tricks are really good in the elwood promo but my favorite is the fakie blunt slide to backside 270 out in to that slant because its just so smooth looking and i dont know how in the hell it was possible to 270 out of it into a slant!

Kenny has always been one of my favorite pros to watch. His style is one of the smoothest ever, and I really dig his trick selection. The ollie up to 360 shuvit pivot to fakie is such a sick trick. I just learned the pivot to fakie and would love to add that 360 shuvit to the trick, and at a street spot is pretty ill. I also really like the fronside bigspin to fakie nose manual to superman slide. He looks like he is having a great time and he is one of the only guys out there that can make a bail look styled out. The trick that blew my mind though was the half-cab blunslide 270 out on that bank hip because it was so fluid and I don’t think I have ever seen that trick before. That spot looks amazing, I would love to skate it.

bigspin pivot fakie was sick. The switch back smith back tail that he did was perfect. And the bigspin fakie manual 180 was insane. Kenny can pretty much make any trick look amazing.

Pretty much my favorite skateboarding maneuver derived by KeNNy was his insane blunt to ollie north just because his stezz was so smooth and I never really see him do much pipe stuff in videos. We all know the Kenny is the BaLLZ MAhAL at mannys, grinds, slides,.. ect but no one ever talks about he rips apart the pipe..Anyhow KeNNy FTW
September 24th, 2008 at 12:39 pm
i like when he skates the mini ramp in the tour video and does the blunt to one foot. and in the promo when he does that line with the sickest flat ground back 180. he can do anything and it is awesome!
September 24th, 2008 at 2:08 pm
first of all T-eddy is kissin kenny andersons ass just to get this prize….
im just gonna say my favorite trick like it asked in one of the videos and it was at the end of the promo…
that bigspin fakie manny half cab out
that was sick.

My favorite Kenny Anderson trick in the Elwood Promo was the Backside Bigspin to switch nosemanual fakie 180 out because it was smooth and flawless like all of Kenny’s tricks, it was filmed at a good angle, that manny pad in Peru looks sick, and all of those people watching the trick made the whole clip pretty dope.
September 24th, 2008 at 3:33 pm
My man Kennys backside bigspin to switch nose 180 out was straight out car wash. Such a difficult thing to do, and with his light footed style makes it all go wild.
September 24th, 2008 at 4:31 pm
my favorite trick was the switch back smith to switch back tail, because its kenny’s two steeziest ledge tricks rolled into one package. Have you ever had to decide between two awesome things? dr pepper or mt dew. ledge spot or stairs. going skating or getting drunk. it sucks to choose, so how bout BOTH. mmmmmmmmmmmmm
September 24th, 2008 at 4:43 pm
back noseblunt 180 out and switch back smith to back tail for the steeeeeeeeeeeeeze
September 24th, 2008 at 5:08 pm
my favorite trick out of all those had to be the fakie blunt 270 out because he had the grace of a gazelle. all of his tricks were smooth, especially that blunt ollie north to fakie.
September 24th, 2008 at 7:07 pm
the backside noseblunt on that steep DIY tranny because that spot looks gnarly and it was a really hard trick on a hard spot to skate. it was just super rad
September 24th, 2008 at 9:21 pm
To say Kenny Anderson has one of, if not the, best style around isn’t saying anything that hasn’t been said before, but it’s true. I’m going to say my favorite trick Kenny does is just a flat ground backside 180 after he ollies over the bench in the Elwood promo. I could have just as easily picked the switch back smith to back tail he does right after this,as it’s obviously harder to do, but the unquestionable steeze Kenny adds to any trick makes them equally appealing to the eye. I would rather see Kenny Anderson front feeble a mediocre ledge than someone skate a 20 stair rail. I think most people would agree, and it just goes to show you can have style and steeze without having to break your ankles. Keep on killin it Kenny.

everything about this guy is just so chillin
i wanna ride pipe so bad after i watch his pipe parts
hes doesnt do anything too technical or too crazy
but everything is just smooth and buttery
almost like hes made of butter…….and is smooth..
especially doing them back 5-0’s!
you can tell hes just all like (coming up the coping) “hmmmm….what do i feel like for dinner later?. (getting in the 5-0) maybe some sushi or something (still in the 5-0) i feel like listening to some bob dylan or maybe johnny cash (uh oh, 5-0 slowing down a bit) oh no, maybe i should get out of this back 5-0 now, cuz i forgot i was in it and all seeing as there so easy and buttery smooth looking (gets out of 5-0) hmmm, ya sushi sounds good.
September 25th, 2008 at 12:51 am
The switch nose blunt fakie 270 i’d say was my favorite. That tricks insane and he made it look like nothing. Smooth as butta.
September 25th, 2008 at 3:35 am
I was really feeling the blunt to tail on the little QP. It was so clean and you’d need a lot of balance to pull it off, plus it was the most tech trick that was done at the spot. Props to Kenny.
September 25th, 2008 at 9:50 am
my favorite thing that kenny did in the Elwood tour video was the fs bigspin fakie manual that he attempted. the way he slid it out and laughed when he messed up showed me that he was having a good time just being out there skating and not letting it bother him that he wasnt landing all his tricks.
my favorite trick in the Elwood tour video was the bs smith that he did on the banked legde. he put so much style into the trick and made it look soo clean. the camera angle may have had alot to do with it but im definitely giving all the credit to kenny on that one.

Well, I watched the Elwood Promo 1st & I liked all 3 of his 1st 3 tricks on the fountain lookin’ thing ’cause they were unexpected in the flow of the video leaving more of an initial impact as far as his opening part goes but more than that, because they all have precision control yet with a smooth, fluid style of control which is moreless what Kenny’s known for, just admit it.
Also, I liked the b/s slappy smith on top of the little banked wall just ’cause it was halfway rough even though it’s waxed but it’s still gnarly & just fun to do & feels good. As far as the FL Tour video went, 3 “tricks” stuck out to me a little bit. The 1st was the b/s 5-0 to fakie on the mini-ramp just ’cause of how smooth, round, & carvy it was with the last possible split second transfer back into fakie before the extension (it just kind of epitomizes what great style is with control regardless of who you are). I also kind of liked the b/s tailslide up & over the edge of the pyramid just ’cause it looked cool, & his bowl run @ the end ’cause you can tell that he’s just flowin’ & havin’ fun, not really trying to impress anybody like pros have to sometimes during demos, contests, etc…, & REALLY, that’s what sk8ing is supposed to be, you KNOW?
Allright, well, that’s my 2 cents worth. So with that said, later sk8ers, peace!

1st = blunt stall ollie north to fakie because i think just the two tricks alone are pretty stylish. together they are ill.
2nd = bigspin fakie manual 180 out. its the first time ive ever seen that and its outrageous. haha
September 28th, 2008 at 1:33 pm
Florida tour. Miniramp. Tail stall to nose tap. Very cool.
September 28th, 2008 at 4:19 pm
All of Kenny’s tricks were epic sick and dripping with syle, and I think by now the best ones have been called out. One that I haven’t seen much comment one was the backside nosegrind frontside revert he did on top of that picnic table. It’s not like that trick has never been done before, but I’ve never seen it look so natural, and it frontside is the unnatural way to spin out of back nosegrinds. That picnic table was pretty tall as well. Kenny is a monster.
September 28th, 2008 at 5:11 pm
his blunt ollie north out was super sick cause his style makes it look super easy
September 28th, 2008 at 5:15 pm
truthfully i liked his promo part better i just think he was a little more tech and i think his skating was better
September 28th, 2008 at 5:40 pm
i really like the blunt to ollie north because thats just fricken awesome in all ways and he does it like tis nothin i wish i could do that.
September 30th, 2008 at 8:44 pm
Wow! What can I say Kenny has always had a unique style that is the envy of every skater. The way he approaches the obstacle, lays down the law, then roles away knowin’ he’s made the skate comunity a better place…wow! Now, my favourite trick in the promo? Damn I hate doin’ this ’cause all of it looked so POLISHED! But i gotta say the nice long Half Cab Blunt on the slope. After watching that, and even minutes after, I know why Kenny has branded his name in the skate comunity. Peace man and don’t let up!

BS Krooked Grind because how effortless it looked
October 2nd, 2008 at 6:47 am
Every time he skateboards in the videos is amazing. But if I really have to pick it would have to be the backside smith grind on the steep bank.
kenny if you read this its chad from Monroe,MI skatepark your board still resides in my room.
Oh Freddy says hi.

Honestly, I think anything that Kenny Anderson is great. But what did it for in Elwood promo, was his first line. Ollie over a bench, bs 180, switch bs smith to bs tail, switch fs shove it. Kenny just seems so natural on a skate. It’s almost as if he’d rather just skate everywhere al the time, than to walk. Thats how comfortable he looks. The way he ollies over the bench is like he has no gravitational pull at all, he just does it. Then his mindless bs 180 was like he did it on the spot. And to make something as difficult as a bs smith to bs tail, switch and all, to look like anyone could just do it is mind blowing to me. Kenny is one of my all time favorite skaters. How it comes so naturally to him in fascinating to me. If anybody every defines the word “style” in skateboarding, it would most definitley be him.
October 8th, 2008 at 5:25 pm
I thinkthe switch back smith to bs tail, switch front shove. that was INSANE!! props to kenny
October 12th, 2008 at 7:21 pm
in the elwood florida tour he’s skatin a mini and casual backnose blunts the extension. and the why reason is just because of his pure steez. hes kenny anderson. makes everything and anything look sick.

Elwood promo video - Switch Back Smith to Tailslide.
Elwood Florida Tour - Blunt to Ollie North.
-My two favorites because they are very original & super fun to watch!
Kenny’s skating is like wine, it only gets better with age. Ever since Sixth Sense I’ve been a fan. All I can say is he’s the most humble skateboarder on this earth & he keeps skating pure. He’s the epitome of style & grace on a skateboard.
October 27th, 2008 at 6:59 pm
Kenny is one of those guys any team would pay the big bucks to have. As in the Chocolate video they said, “He’s just one of those guys you can watch skate one spot all day and never get bored, it looks like he was born to be on a skateboard. ” or something along that lines but if any skater has that ability and can still have fun and progress, thats a true skater.
In the Elwood Promo I loved the Backside Bigspin to Switch Nosemanual Fakie 180 out. It was full of tech and yet he makes it look like warmup.
In the Elwood Florida Tour I went DAMN when I saw that Blunt to Ollie North, I immediately went outside to try it, even though I didn’t have a chance. Like I said he makes it look like he could do it in his sleep.
PICK ME PLEASE!
KENNY ANDERSON AND CHOCOLATE FOREVER!

My favorite trick in the Elwood Promo that Kenny did was the ollie to FS boardslide. I loved it because it was flawlessy exicuted. I mean i’ve seen people do it before but never that smoothly and flawlessy. It was amazing.
May 9th, 2009 at 10:23 pm
OMG one of my favorite pros well switch back smith back tail is one of my favorite tricks he also did it in a Adio ad why because he makes it look so buttery and blunt to tail sexy so sexy buttery to
October 4th, 2009 at 2:09 am
my favorite trick that Kenny did was the frontside crooked grind on that cement barrier thing. the reason i loved it so much was because it was so smooth and perfectly executed. it prooves that you dont have to do something ooberly complicated to look good
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:28 pm
the bigspin fakie manual was my favorite trick that kenny did. I also really liked the tailslides and nose blunts that kenny did that he made look so easy even though I am trying to learn tailslides and I know they are not that easy YET!
