On Tuesday NHS put on an open day at their facilities in Santa Cruz, California. We were able to silk screen T-shirts, watch board graphics being heat transferred, and check out the history of the NHS art department. The NHS research and development team showed us tests for the grippiness of griptape, flatspotting wheels, and how much impact various boards can take. They unveiled their new P2 concave (these boards are strong!) and plied us with good food, brew, free tattoos, a live band, and good vibes. Thanks for having us NHS!—Dave Chami
