This week’s YouTube is all about respecting people with skills in places that you might not traditionally find yourself offering dap. Don’t worry I’m not going to try and make you sit through some rollerblading, Lord knows that for all the dialog skaters spout about how closed-minded society is to judge them and not see their point of view as we grind another blackened and chipped waxed ledge in an act that is debateably different to casual vandalism, skateboarding judges the shyza out of everyone else in return. Well today we are changing that. Trampolining on TransWorld SKATEboarding? I’m not condoning the shorts or some of the after trick modeling but seriously, this looks like a lot of fun…
I’m far too sub-urban to roll any serious hip-hop vibes, let alone partake in any of the music, so I was hesitant with this one, but don’t let the opening frame grab on this one throw you off, the fax machine and intercom phone at what looks like his mom’s house will only add to how astonishing this guy is. Just goes to show you don’t need to lease some Hummers and a couple of strippers for your bleach bypass music video to be hip hop…
French comedian Remi Gaillard is not only one of the funniest human beings on the planet, he’s also pretty bloody good with a bag of wind. And by the way, we call it football in Europe because you play with your feet; the last time I watched the Miami Dolphins, most of the people were using their hands…
You know when you see the rappers on MTV twitching their shoulders and shuffling their feet when they dance, fronting like that’s what got them all the women in the club? Horse sh-t. We know the women are after their cheddar, they’re like mice, and who wants to date a rodent? If you want to get girls with your moves, this might be a good starting point reference:
Before you start crying about how Guy Mariano used this track in Fully Flared and claiming that skateboarding is the origin of everything, just watch through this video and marvel at the control Danny MacAskill has over a bike, he bunny hops gaps from one flat bar to another. If Danny has borrowed from skateboarding, I think skateboarding would be enriched if someone could figure out how to borrow something back!
