It’s confirmed—Nyjah Huston can seriously do anything. Winning his fifth Street League stop over the course of three years, Nyjah came out swingin’ in Kansas City, adding a cool 150,000 bucks to his bank account. Must be nice. But coming close in second, narrowly missing the top slot by bailing a double flip front board down the massive big rail on his last attempt of the contest, Bastien Salabanzi kept the crowd psyched and rootin’ for the French Revolution. And you thought he was done? Hell nah!
One of the hightlights of the night, though, was watching Ishod Wair go for it with frontside 180 to switch crooks 270s out on the bump-to-ledge and countless other mind-baffling tricks to beat out all the other Street League dudes in a 20 minute-best trick jam session for the Zumiez 24/7 Fan Favorite award, winning 10 Gs in the process. Skate rat since day one, and it shows.
