why would college be something special. here, and i believe in most parts of europe, going to college is a common thing.
marc is just very interested in some questions that can not be answered. he lives somewhere in the woods, reads books, thinks about everything and is trying get the answer. i read some interview with marc - he had some crazy thoughts about existence of everything, about how the universe is built and things like that. that’s why i also think marc’s interesting. because i’m also into a lot of stuff… but i don’t want to think that he’s extremely intelligent. intelligence has nothing to do with that…

intelligence has a great deal to do with the countinence of this man, but this does not necessarily come from reading books. they are just a good stimulus. i don’t understand why people have a problem with thinkers in the skate community, we don’t all have to be burnouts.

Going to college is a special thing because most skaters do not go to college or care too. The majority of young skaters think it’s cool to be stupid and not learn anything about anything, so it’s refreshing to see a skater with intelligence. His interest in stuff like the universe and existence is a form of intelligence there’s a whole subject of academia dedicated to it and it called ‘Philosophy’.

The thing that makes the water red is a kind of alga. It grow on top of snow, and it’s red so it’s more able to absorb sunlight and hold on heat. so when the snow melts it extracts the color from the alga.
