Last Saturday etnies celebrated the expansion of the etnies Skatepark of Lake Forest, which made their outdoor skatepark officially the largest free public skatepark in the entire United States. Not only did kids get to sit on the sidelines and watch Ryan Sheckler and Sean Malto break ’er in, but they also got a chance to get some of their own on the new million-dollar 22,000 square foot expansion. Plus, thanks to the always-generous Pierre-Andre Senizergues—CEO of etnies—free tacos were had by all, which always makes any occasion that much better, right? To whoever said there’s no such thing as a free lunch, F that! This time there was free lunch and free skating. And for the kid who was beyond stoked to meet Sheckler and nervously asked him for a small personal keepsake, there was even a free Power Balance bracelet. Doesn’t get much better than that.
Check the video and photos below to see all the new stuff to skate, as well as a bit of skating from Malto and Sheckler, and then rush over to Lake Forest, California, to shred it for yourself.
