2008 Volcom Damn Am Qualifiers

Eighty of the top amateur skateboarders took to Volcom’s outdoor skate park in Costa Mesa, California on Saturday for the 2008 Damn Am. Each skater had a chance to qualify for the semi-finals with two, one minute runs. Well-known young bucks like David Loy, Anthony Schultz, and Danny Scher skated amongst the up-and-coming unknowns like Westin Sparks, Donovan Piscopo, and Chase Webb. Sixteen skaters from yesterday’s qualifiers as well as 22 skaters from today’s qualifiers made the cut. Here’s the photos from all the ripping ams with more photos to come!
