With guys like Mike Carroll, Guy Mariano, Cairo Foster, and Brandon Biebel, the Lakai squad never disappoints. Not too mention the ams, like Vincent Alvarez, who’s been on a all-terrain rampage lately, even if it’s at a demo in Salt Lake City. The fourth stop on the Zumiez Couch Tour 2010 day had Cairo charging as always and young Daniel Espinoza killing it with the calmness of a savvy up and comer. Mike Mo Capaldi was injured, but still showed up to sign autographs for the loyal Lakai legion.

The Zumiez Best Foot Forward Am Contest Series Results:
1.Tyson Bowerbank
2. Christian Sereika
3. Derek Rivera

This was some of the most talent packed finals in a while, with all the usual suspects making the cut and laying down the hammers. Tyson Bowerbank and Christian Sereika have been in the top 3 for all of the previous years of the SLCZumiez Best Foot Forward, and this year was no different. Christian has a great controlled style, with buttery landings and after a difficult-to-judge finals, he ended up getting 2nd place. Repeating as winner this year was Tyson, looking about 12” taller than last year and popping his tricks bigger too; he gets to rep Salt Lake in the BFF Tour Finals again. Tyson had one stretch in that last jam session where he landed 4 bangers in a row down the double-set. That sealed the deal as far as the judges were concerned. Last year’s New Era Originator of the Day winner, Derek Rivera got 3rd place, and this year’s winner was Daniel Roman with his nollie inward heel disaster on the quarter pipe…that’s a trick you don’t see ever!
