In4mation out of Hawaii and Brixton Ltd. out of the Firey Mountains of California have come together on a new rendition of Brixton’s popular Castor hat. “A penny saved is a penny earned,” is the theme and while I must say that I’m not a hat guy aside from the typical fitted or snap-back baseball cap, the Castor gets some love in my wardrobe, and it will be nice knowing that the next time I’m at Hensley’s Flying Elephant no one will have the same Brixton as me. To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Chicago Cubs’ first night game at Wrigley (was the Cubs-esque color scheme planned?), this hat will release on 08/08/08, only at Aloha Army (phone orders accepted 808-597-1447) in Waikiki.
