This custom color up was developed by DVS rider Andrew Brophy when he joined the DVS pro squad last year. Brophy selected the Dayton for its clean look, vulc outsole and most importantly its Bruise Control heel cushioning system. The purple suede on this shoe is as purple as the teeth stains on all those winos of the Aussie wine country. But, if Brophy’s purple suede isn’t for you, the Dayton also comes in a basic black suede and a grey suede as well.
What else is up…Brophy skated alongside DVS teammates Daewon Song, Zered Bassett, Torey Pudwill, Kenny Hoyle and Jimmy Cao at TransWorld’s 2009 Skate and Create contest, which is still going. Look for that stuff to come out late Summer. He and Torey are also planning to hit the Wallenberg contest which DVS is proudly sponsoring on May 30th.
