This just in from Affliction:
Affliction Clothing Collaboration with Mike Vallely
Affliction Clothing, the premier label that embodies our generation’s fast and loud attitude and lifestyle through contemporary fashion, has announced a collaboration effort with Mike Vallely, world-class skateboarder and singer of the Rock n’ Roll band Revolution Mother. Vallely, aka Mike V, will be collaborating on a line of Mike Vallely apparel, and a signature Affliction, Revolution Mother T-shirt.
Long Beach based Mike Vallely, who divides his time between skateboarding and singing began his ride into the public eye as a pro skateboarder in 1987. Known for his speed, power and style , he has been featured in television shows, films and documentaries. Vallely’s band, Revolution Mother, was on Warped Tour in 2007 and 2008 and is signed to Ferret Records. Their new album Rollin’ With Tha Mutha is due out in July. The album was produced by Fred Archambault (Avenged Sevenfold, Valiant Thorr) and is the follow up to Glory Bound.
“Affliction Clothing mirrors my aggressive style and attitude,” said Vallely. “I’ve never felt comfortable in surf apparel — that look was never really me. Affliction is a clothing brand that expresses what I’m all about and in turn allows me to express myself.” Marketing Director Chris Lisk commented, “Affliction is excited about working with Mike V. He has always held strong as an individual and we acknowledge and promote that quality in all of our athletes and artists.”
