It’s that time of year again. Summer is on the horizon, the smog in L.A. is getting a little thicker, and the TransWorld SKATEboarding Awards and premiere of the new TWS film by Jon Holland and crew, Subtleties, is blowing into town for the sixth year in a row.
We bet you’re thinking, how can they possibly match last year’s fire of an awards show, right? While we’re keeping most of the surprises under wraps, we can tell you that DC Shoes is throwing an afterparty with a very special guest DJ, and that skateboarding god Steve Caballero is the recipient of The Legend Award. There has also been talk of some funny beverages from our friends over at Red Bull.
The 6th Annual TransWorld SKATEboarding Awards will be held on Wednesday, May 26 at the Henry Fonda Music Box Theatre in Hollywood. This year’s awards are invite only.
