This year’s Zumiez Couch Tour was thebiggest yet, with Colt, Tosh, Terry, Bam, Mike V. and Tyler Bledsoe putting on demos followed by concerts by Mike V. and the Rats and CkY. The entire crew and cast of Viva la Bam showed up at the Mall ofAmerica event to film a segment for an upcoming episode. Meanwhile, DeWitt, Rupp, Jwray, Tony Tave, Collin Provost, Justin Schulte, andJosh Rio (from Australia) headed out on the Elemental Awareness Southwest tour, whichtraveled through Phoenix, Flagstaff, Albuquerque, Denver, and Vegas.
Tosh Townend has manned up and scheduled his own trip with friends TK, Rupp, Brent Atchley, Wes Lott, and Ryan Cottrel in a ’77 Winnebago that will tour from Vancouverto LA during the first three weeks of August. They plan to document the trip andproduce a video of their adventures upon completion of the tour. Speaking of producingvideos and stuff, Mike V. has produced the first five episodes of his documentary show “Drive TV which airs on the Rush channel of the Voom Satellite Network. Look for another episode to air in September.
As all things come to an end, and after a long and memorable relationship,Element has parted ways with veteran pros Kenny Hughes and Natas Kaupas.
Both Terry Kennedy and Vanessa Torres will have pro models dropping Sept. 1. Element is also doing limited edition TCF (technology + confidence = freedom) boards with corresponding wheels, bearings and a CoOp truck with Destructo.

As it does every year, Element is headed to the YMCA Skatecamp on Sequoia Lake inAugust for a week. It is also in the process of planning an East Coast tour inSeptember, a Brazil tour in November, and plenty of demos in between.
