Fun Fun Fun Fest presents skate program with vert ramp and street course
Christain Hosoi, Lester Kasai, PLG, Elliot Sloan, and more.
FUN FUN FUN FEST (FFF Fest) is proud to partner again with local nonprofit Project LOOP to present an expanded skate + ride experience at the festival, which includes a host of professional skateboarders bringing their best to the vert ramp, half-pipe and street course at the 2013 festival Nov 8-10.
On the skateboarding side of the festival alternative sport experience, FFF Fest and Project LOOP are proud to have the legendary Christian Hosoi join the athletes on the ramp. Additionally, vert specialists Elliot Sloan (won X Games 2013 gold in skateboard big air), Lester Kasai, Sergie Ventura and Pierre Luc Gagnon will be riding vert demos. Cody Lockwood, Steve Reeves, and native Texan Raney Beres, who’s coming off a “best trick” win at the Van Doren Invitational, will also be riding along with many others.
Alternative sports spectators will also enjoy an interactive art experience in the skate + ride area curated by artist Tim Kerr, legendary skater/actor/model/artist Steve Olson, and eminent graphic designer and artistic director Chris Bilheimer.
The complete FFF Fest music lineup includes M.I.A., Slayer, MGMT, Jurassic 5, Television, Snoop Dogg, Descendents, Ice-T, FLAG (Keith Morris, Chuck Dukowski, Dez Cadena, Bill Stevenson and Stephen Egerton), and many more. The full list of artists is available at funfunfunfest.com. Weekend 3-day passes are currently on sale. Single day passes will be on sale in September. Also still to come is the daily schedule as well as the lineup for FFFFest Nites, the nightly after parties free with a festival wristband.
