HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA, November 29, 2000 (NYSE:ZQK) Quiksilver is proud to announce the opening of a new retail store in New Jersey.

On Friday, November 24th the first Hawk Skate Clothing concept store was opened next to Quiksilver’s new Boardriders Club store in the Garden State Mall in Paramus, New Jersey.

The Hawk Clothing store has 1,100 square feet of retail space dedicated to a clothing line inspired by its namesake, skateboard icon Tony Hawk. “We are providing kids with an authentic and original skateboarding influenced retail environment. Based on the popularity of Tony Hawk and the skateboarding lifestyle, we believe this store will be a welcome alternative to the local community,” says Gregg Solomon, Vice President of Quiksilver’s Retail Division.

The store will include key pieces of the Hawk Clothing line, including tee shirts, pants, shorts, jackets, sweatshirts and accessories- all pieces influenced by Tony Hawk. Other well-known skate brands will also be sold at the store in conjunction with the Hawk label.
