The Hundreds kicked off the grand opening of the “Brooklyn Projects West” pop-up shop at The Hundreds Santa Monica, 416 Broadway St., Saturday, October 19, with a special in-store launch party and signing by the Deathwish, Baker, and Shake Junt skate team. The event was open to the public during regular store hours.
“Brooklyn Projects was the second account The Hundreds opened,” says Bobby Hundreds. “Dominick welcomed us in, and Brooklyn Projects became our family. From our first official collaboration to Dominick immortalized as a bomb, Brooklyn Projects has always been down. ‘Brooklyn Projects West’ is a way for The Hundreds to open our Santa Monica home and return a long overdue favor.”
“Brooklyn Projects West” plays host to hardware and soft goods from a long list of core brands that include Baker, Chocolate, Deathwish, Dogtown, Girl, Krooked, Real, Santa Cruz, and Shake Junt. The Hundreds X Brooklyn Projects merchandise will also be available, built off of “The Hundreds’ and Brooklyn Projects’ shared interests in music and skate with a West Los Angeles tint,” including a series of graphic tees, a coach’s jacket, a beanie, and a skate deck. The collection is exclusive to “Brooklyn Projects West” and will not be available anywhere else.
