Ryan Sheckler and Torey Pudwill will be the first to demo the new 40,000-square-foot Kennesaw Skatepark during an opening day celebration on Saturday, November 23. Festivities begin at 10 a.m., and gates open to all skaters after the show.

The state-of-the-art skatepark is a 40,000 square foot all-concrete facility consisting of a Street League Skateboarding Foundation Certified Skate Plaza, as well as a traditional flow course and bowl. “There is no other skatepark within 300 miles that matches the quality and versatility of Kennesaw Skatepark,” said Mayor Mark Mathews. “This facility moves skateboarding in this area to the next level.”

Located at 3140 Old 41 Highway, the park is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. There is no charge to use the facility. Helmets are required for skaters ages 15 and under.
