yo there is nothing wrong with those shoe companies…. they have all been in the o.g skate game. Rick Howard use to rock converse and lets face it adidas vans, and converse all great skate teams. Adidas got Busenitz and the Gonz… And Bachinsky, Converse got trapasso and papalardo. They are all great shoes and teams

it sucks when people try to defend nike, vans, converse, adidas etc. saying theyre the “original” skateshoes. all those companys are, are old sneaker companys, and when people first started skating they wore generic sneakers.. now that skateboardings so big, PRO SKATEBOARDERS can start their own companys just for skating and make a decent living while SUPPORTING SKATEBOARDING at the same time. then here comes the money hungry corporate people, once they see how big skating is they think to themselves, maybe we can make some money off these skaters since it seems so popular. all they want is money and theyre gonna dip out as soon as skating goes back underground. probably along with you kooks defending them

It’s a hoax. Why would Lakai advertise the loss of their most profitable and valuable team member? There are no benefits awarded to Lakai by revealing that Koston has left, thus it would be a retarded business move on Lakai’s part. Just like how Hollywood celebrities flash their scum swollen cooches to endorse their career, it makes most sense that this is just a advertisement to build up hype for a Lakai product. Additionally, to my knowledge, it doesn’t seem like Koston, has any beef with anyone on Lakai, so I doubt he would leave because of personal reasons. Finally, I would like to believe that Koston is not a sell out. You can see it through his skating and the guys that he associates himself with that the dude isn’t down for exploiting skating. He even states “if Nike was like, here’s an offer for you, I don’t know, I wouldn’t do it, it would just be sketchy. I’m not surprised by this in the least. I pretty much figured that the Girl/Lakai/Crailtap family invited him along for the Fully Flared part because they’re bro’s. Everyone knew how epic it was gonna be, the video got hyped for like 4-5 years. At any rate his employment with Lakai looked short lived from the beginning. Whatever… It’s all blown out.
Koston should return to eS footwear. They make the most comfortable shoes anyway. Accels and Squares for LIFE!!!

I heard from someone who skates for Cons that he might be getting on. Again it is all speculation at this point. I am guessing he is starting another brand within the Podium umbrella or is going to Cons/Nike. Who cares what shoes the guy is wearing he still rips. As for people saying he is wearing these shoes in this video and those shoes in that….let’s get real here no skater that skates for a sponsor wears solely (pun intended) their shoes. I know a lot of pros and ams personally and have yet to see one person wear just those shoes. Well that is it for my rant. I am just tired of seeing a bunch of rumors on here and kids who are calling Dekline Dakline. At the end of the day Lakai will still make shoes and Koston will still skate so everyone should probably just relax.
