Games of SKATE seem to be pretty hot right now, so Vans went ahead and claimed one of their own. Both skate parks in Orange, CA and Orlando, FL will be hosting the “Man, I Need Vans Game of S.K.A.T.E.” on Saturday, February 21st at 3pm.

The winner of each age division (2 divisions: 6 - 13 and 14+) wins a year’s supply of Vans shoes (12 pair). Registration starts at 12:00pm the day of the contest and there is no additional entry fee other than the regular price to skate! Limited spots available so show up early for registration. The game doesn’t have to be played on the flat. that could be played on ramps, stairs, banks and handrails.

Vans are hands down the best skate shoe on the market, fat clunky shoes are a thing of the past and board feel is necessary.

The argument that one shoe should fit the entire skate world is just as lame and archaic as the argument that Independent trucks are the best and only truck to ride. These arguments are usually made by the tired old schoolers who have no sense of progress or forward thinking. Different strokes people.

Blow my winkie, Vans are the best shoes no matter what terrain your skating and indys are the best hands down, it’s a fact, pros from other truck companies admit it like “ventures are pretty good, I mean there almost as good as indies.”
