ODB Rest In Peace!

Bucky Lasek and Campbell’s Soup donated $5000 to the Encinitas YMCA Skatepark last week so they can build a mini ramp and other obstacles for the youngsters that shred the park. Photos up later today.

KR3W sponsored an Andre Nickatina show last Friday at the Longshot Saloon in San Marcos, California. Despite single-handedly organizing and promoting the show, Jimmy Astleford was personally thrown out at least twice during the evening by Nickatina himself. Ryan Smith and the crazy Canadians were in attendance as was Lindsey Robertson staying true to his southern roots in his white Cadillac. Afterparty shenanigans ensued at the infamous skatehouse “The Donna.” Photos later this week.

The Stereo team cruised through San Diego on Sunday to sign autographs and show their new video Way Out East at two Sun Diego locales. The video is nice to look at as it was shot all on film. After signing several vintage Stereo boards that collectors had brought out and enamored young mall girls’ T shirts, J. Lee, Dune and the boys headed out with SD tour guide Willy Santos to finally get some skateboarding into their day. Photos later this week.

You guys know about that gnarly Flip/Active demo going down on the 27th in Rancho Cucomunga right? Okay, good.
