Hawaiian filmmaker Chuck Mitsui (he made the awesome 808 Skateshop video It’s 808 a few years back) is premiering his new full-length film One Kine Day on the independent film circuit. It’s already won the Audience Award at the 2010 Hawaii International Film Festival and has been getting good reviews including this one in Variety. It follows a skater around in an eventful day in his life in Hawaii. Check out the trailer below, and if you’re in the Los Angeles area, support a fellow skater and catch a screening of it May 1 at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.
