Master-ramp-builder Rob Monroe passed away in November. Rob O began skating in the 70s and built ramps almost as long. Through the 80s, he lived in Huntington Beach and befriended a world of skaters in and beyond his Southern California home. In 1996 he and his wife Lisa had a daughter, Zoey. Over the next few years he developed his business, Rob O Ramps, employing his friends and building parks and demo ramps the world over. Some of his most recent projects include the Vans Skateparks, including the newly rebuilt street course at the facility in Orange, California.
Rob O skated with and was a friend to many people in the skateboard industry. He will be missed greatly.
