Last installment we reported about the new stuff that Emerica helped build at the Volcano spot in Brooklyn. Sad news, the city tore down the concrete stuff at N7 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn the same week we first reported on it. Rumor has it that some of the local kids build two kicker ramps there and are trying to make things to skate again.

In good news a Brooklyn skatepark is set to open the end of august. The parks department let the 5boro crew test it out last week, and the report is super smooth.

Tony Hawk will be a celebrity contestant on ABC’s “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?” along with such sports icons as John Elway, Jeff Gordon, and Serena Williams.
